Leah Capaldi

Leah Capaldi’s work uses performance and sculpture to explore the ways in which culture influences our self-perception in relation to exploitation, power and the object. Her work seeks to challenge existing beliefs and stereotypes within a gendered, political and cultural context, exploring theses notions in relation to social reference. The crossover area between the disciplines of sculpture and performance are of particular interest to her.
